Paris Train Station Transfers with a Private Chauffeur
A clear plan for your arrival or departure. Paris Private Experience arranges private chauffeur transfers between Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, Gare de l’Est or Saint-Lazare and your address within Paris, in either direction. Our licensed chauffeurs carry out the journey; we confirm the vehicle category, fare and meeting point in writing before your pickup.
Transfers between a covered Paris station and an address within Paris start at €80 per vehicle in E-Class or equivalent, in either direction. The exact fare is confirmed before booking. Your first message takes four essentials.
Your first message
Hello Paris Private Experience,
I would like a private transfer between a Paris train station and my address.

Which Paris Train Station Are You Arriving At?
Select Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse, Gare de l’Est or Gare Saint-Lazare, then tell us whether the car should collect you there or take you to the station from a Paris address. The station on your ticket identifies one endpoint; your hotel, residence or office identifies the other. We confirm the actual meeting instruction for your booking in writing, rather than giving every traveller the same exit number.
These are five ways to brief one station-to-address service. Select a station to prepare its message; a change between two railway stations needs a separate quote.
Plan my transfer for the selected stationGare du Nord · Eurostar
Eurostar Arrivals and Departures at Gare du Nord
For an arrival at Gare du Nord, the car should fit the journey that follows the train. Tell Paris Private Experience the arrival date and time, your hotel or other Paris destination, the number of travellers and the luggage. We will agree the vehicle category and an appropriate meeting instruction for that booking. If an assistant or host is arranging the transfer, they can receive the confirmation and share the traveller-facing details.
Arriving in Paris
An international rail arrival can involve several stages between leaving the train and reaching the vehicle. The time required varies by traveller and circumstances. We do not promise a fixed number of minutes from train door to car. The written pickup plan gives you a meeting point and a confirmed pickup time, while the station waiting rule tells you what is included from that time. With your train number, we follow the announced arrival and adjust the pickup if the train runs late; if you change train or miss it, message us so we can agree a new time.
Leaving Paris
For a Paris departure by Eurostar, tell us your address and the station arrival time you intend to meet. The current ticket and Eurostar’s instructions remain the reference for the train itself. We arrange the ground journey to Gare du Nord; we do not replace the rail operator’s travel requirements with a generic time estimate.
London
Eurostar does not have one check-in rule for every train leaving Gare du Nord. For a London departure, follow signs to Hall 2 and the UK departure area. Eurostar asks Standard and Plus travellers to arrive at the recommended time on their current ticket; ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure. Premier ticket gates close 15 minutes before departure, but that closing time is not the recommended time to show up. Download the ticket near the travel date and allow for the checks that apply to your journey. We plan the car around the station arrival time you choose from those instructions, then confirm the pickup at your Paris address.
Continental
For a continental Eurostar journey, the process can differ from a London-bound departure. Read the itinerary and operator's current instructions instead of applying the London gate deadline to every Eurostar train. If you are arriving in Paris from London, Eurostar says the border checks take place before departure; that does not make a platform meeting with a car possible or promise a fixed interval from train to vehicle. For an arrival, the written meeting point and pickup time remain the useful details. The rail rules describe boarding, while our confirmation describes the onward road transfer.
Where Does a Reserved Chauffeur Meet You at Gare du Nord?
- SNCF station facilityTaxi drop-offlevel -2, Effia car park
- SNCF station facilityUnbooked taxi pickupby exit 7, cour des taxis
- SNCF station facilityReserved VTC arealevel -3, Effia car park
- Your PPE bookingMeeting instructionconfirmed in writing
SNCF Gares & Connexions identifies different spaces for different road uses at Gare du Nord. Its published information places the taxi drop-off at level -2 of the Effia car park, the unbooked taxi pickup by exit 7 at the cour des taxis, and the reserved VTC area at level -3 of the Effia car park. A passenger reading "taxi court" on an old guide could therefore go somewhere different from the place intended for a reserved car. These are station facilities described by SNCF, not a declaration that every PPE transfer meets at one of them.
Our instruction is confirmed for the actual booking, with the station, time and suitable access checked together. We do not promise that a chauffeur will stand beside your Eurostar carriage or at a platform entrance. The traveller and the person who booked for them should both receive the final written instruction. If an access route changes, use the latest confirmed message and contact us rather than assuming a generic exit number still applies. This distinction between a known station and an agreed meeting place is especially useful for guests who have never crossed Gare du Nord before.
Chauffeur Transfers at Gare de Lyon, Montparnasse, Est and Saint-Lazare
Each of the other four covered stations deserves the same level of specificity. At Gare de Lyon, say whether you are arriving at the station or need to travel there from your Paris address. At Montparnasse, identify the precise station and your onward destination. For Gare de l’Est and Saint-Lazare, give the confirmed train or desired pickup time and the address at the other end of the journey. We use those details to prepare the vehicle and the meeting instruction, rather than assuming that one sign or exit works for every passenger.
Travellers often choose a station transfer because they have a next step to manage: checking into a hotel, reaching a private address, attending an appointment or meeting family. The car journey can be simple, but that does not make the station rendezvous interchangeable. A written plan helps especially when the passenger has not visited the station before or when someone else booked the car.
These examples explain how to brief us; they do not create separate fixed fares for individual station entrances. The same published starting prices apply to comparable journeys between any of the five covered stations and Paris intra-muros in both directions. The exact fare is confirmed for the real address, time and category before booking.
Station Pickup: Written Meeting Point and 30 Minutes of Waiting
- 15 min beforeour chauffeur is planned on site
- Confirmed pickup timeagreed with you in writing
- 30 min of waitingincluded from the confirmed pickup time
We confirm a specific meeting point for your station and journey in writing. For a scheduled station pickup, our chauffeur is planned on site 15 minutes before the confirmed pickup time. Station pickups include 30 minutes of waiting from that confirmed time. These are two different points: the planned early presence helps prepare the pickup, while the included waiting period starts at the time agreed with you.
Give us your train number when we confirm the booking. We follow that train’s announced arrival and adjust the pickup if it runs late. If you change train, miss your train or your plans change, tell us: a message keeps the traveller and the chauffeur on the same schedule. If the passenger and organiser have separate phones, agree during booking which contact should receive the meeting instruction and which should report a change.
The station environment can be busy, and a generic pin does not always tell a visitor which side of a large building to use. The confirmed instruction should be practical for this reservation. Keep it available on your phone, and share it with the person travelling if you booked for them. If a change is agreed, use the latest written instruction.
Vehicles and Luggage for Paris Train Station Transfers
The published categories offer different ways to use the space. E-Class or equivalent starts at €80 per vehicle for a comparable station to Paris transfer. V-Class or equivalent starts at €110, V-Class XL or equivalent at €130, and S-Class or equivalent at €150. The final category and fare are confirmed for the booking. “Or equivalent” describes a category, not a promise of one exact model or interior.
When asking for a vehicle, combine the number of travellers with the number and approximate size of their bags. Two people with small cases, a family with several large suitcases, and colleagues carrying equipment present different space requirements even if all are going to the same address. A V-Class can be a practical option for a family, but we check the actual luggage before recommending it. If a child seat or unusually shaped item is needed, mention it during the booking conversation for confirmation.
For larger parties, several coordinated cars may be more suitable than one vehicle, particularly if people leave at different times or go to different Paris addresses. A Sprinter or minibus for up to 16 passengers or a coach for up to 55 can be considered subject to configuration, luggage, availability and station access. Maximum seat counts must not be read as luggage capacity.

Ask which vehicle fits our luggageFrom Your Paris Hotel, Home or Office to the Station
A station transfer also works in reverse. Tell us the Paris pickup address, the station on your ticket, the requested time and the party’s bags. We will confirm the category, fare and Paris meeting point in writing. A street name alone may not identify the best entrance to a hotel, office building or residence, so provide the precise address and any useful access detail during confirmation.
The time you should reach the station depends on your train and the operator’s current instructions. We can plan the car around the station arrival time you give us, but we do not invent a universal rail check-in requirement. If the person travelling is not the person booking, share the final pickup information with both. This prevents a departure from being delayed because the passenger went to an entrance different from the confirmed one.
The same starting fares apply for comparable Paris intra-muros to covered station journeys as for the return direction. The exact quote can reflect the address, requested time and vehicle. If the traveller has another stop or needs a vehicle for a broader programme, describe that itinerary so it can be quoted as such rather than assumed to be a simple station transfer.
Booking a Station Transfer for a Guest, Family or Team
Guest
You can organise a station pickup without being on the train. Give us the station, date and time, Paris address, and travellers and bags in the first conversation. We can then confirm a clear plan for the guest. The person making the booking can pass on the meeting instruction without asking the traveller to work through a long form after arriving.
Family, team
If a family travels with children, tell us the seating requirements and luggage during confirmation. If colleagues arrive on different trains or need separate addresses, say so before we choose a vehicle configuration. A group that looks small by passenger count can require several cars because of timing, bags or destinations. We check the actual journey rather than applying a one-size-fits-all passenger number.
Business
For a business guest, the organiser may need a written fare and vehicle category for approval. Those details can be settled before travel, with the traveller receiving only the instructions needed to find the car. We can keep the booking conversation coordinated with the person designated as the contact for changes.
Train Station to Airport Connections Require a Separate Quote
If your journey joins a Paris station to Charles de Gaulle, Orly or another airport, tell us the exact station, airport, date, time, group and luggage. We assess the itinerary and provide a separate quote. The €80, €110, €130 and €150 starting fares on this page refer to comparable journeys between a covered station and an address within Paris intra-muros; they should not be interpreted as airport connection prices.
The direction of travel matters. A station pickup has 30 minutes of waiting from the confirmed pickup time. An airport pickup follows the applicable airport plan and its own flight details. We keep the two meeting instructions distinct even when one reservation involves both rail and air travel. If a connection is important, share the timetable you intend to use so the ground leg can be planned around your actual itinerary, without a guaranteed train or flight connection being implied.
For CDG or Orly services, see the dedicated airport transfer pages. You do not need to choose the right service before writing to us; the first message can describe the two endpoints and we will assess the right journey.
Arriving or Departing: Two Clear Booking Paths
The two paths keep the direction clear in the first WhatsApp message. Both show the same starting fares for comparable Paris intra-muros journeys; the exact fare is confirmed before booking.
Build my station transfer requestFour Details to Start, Then a Written Confirmation
- Station and arrival or departure
- Date and time
- Paris address
- Passengers and luggage together
The first message can be short: station and arrival or departure; date and time; Paris address; and passengers and luggage together. It does not need a train number. We use those four fields to understand the journey, then ask for any further detail needed to confirm the vehicle and meeting point.
Before booking, the quote identifies the fare for the actual journey and the vehicle category. For an arrival, the written plan identifies where to meet at the station and the confirmed pickup time. For a departure, it identifies the pickup point at the Paris address and the destination station. The same principle keeps a simple transfer simple and a more complex group booking clear.
If a train delay, address change or luggage change affects the arrangements, contact us so we can check the plan and confirm any adjustment. The passenger should use the latest written details rather than a provisional message. This is especially helpful when the organiser is elsewhere and the passenger has just arrived in Paris.
Paris Train Station Transfer Questions
Which Paris stations do you cover?
We cover Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse, Gare de l’Est and Gare Saint-Lazare. Tell us the exact station when you enquire.
Can I arrange a car for a Eurostar arrival?
Yes. For Paris Gare du Nord, we confirm the vehicle category, fare and meeting point before the pickup. Share your arrival time, Paris address, people and luggage in the first message.
Where will my chauffeur meet me?
The exact meeting point is confirmed in writing for your station and booking. The instruction is tailored to the station and journey.
How much is a station transfer?
Between a covered station and an address within Paris, prices start at €80 in E-Class, €110 in V-Class, €130 in V-Class XL and €150 in S-Class per vehicle, in either direction. We confirm the exact fare before booking.
Is waiting included?
Yes. Station pickups include 30 minutes of waiting from the confirmed pickup time, adjusted to your train’s actual arrival when we follow it from its number. If you change train, tell us so we can coordinate a new time.
Can you meet a late-evening arrival?
Tell us the train’s arrival time. Paris Private Experience confirms the journey, vehicle category and meeting point in writing before booking.
Can you take me from a station to an airport?
Tell us the station, airport and timing. We check the journey and send a separate quote. Airport pickups have their own arrangements.
Can I book for my family or an arriving guest?
Yes. We check travellers and luggage together and confirm the plan in writing so the traveller knows where to meet.
Do I need to know the station exit before I contact you?
No. The station name, date and time, Paris address, and travellers and luggage are enough for the first message. We confirm a meeting instruction for the booking before pickup. Avoid relying on an exit mentioned for another traveller's journey.
Do you follow my train?
Yes, once your booking is confirmed and you have given us the train number: we follow its announced arrival and adjust the pickup if it runs late. If you change train, miss it or travel on another service, tell us so we can agree a new time. The 30 minutes of included station waiting begin at the confirmed pickup time, adjusted to the train’s actual arrival.
Are the €80 starting fare and waiting period per passenger?
The published starting fare is per vehicle for a comparable station to Paris intra-muros journey, in either direction. Waiting is attached to the station pickup arrangement, not multiplied by the number of travellers. We confirm the actual fare, vehicle category and meeting details in writing.
How early should I reach Gare du Nord for a London-bound Eurostar?
Follow the recommended arrival time shown on your current ticket. Eurostar says Standard and Plus ticket gates close 30 minutes before departure, and Premier gates close 15 minutes before departure. Those deadlines are not an invitation to arrive at the last minute; we plan the car around the station arrival time you choose.
Is the taxi court at Gare du Nord my PPE meeting point?
Not necessarily. SNCF lists separate taxi drop-off, unbooked taxi pickup and reserved VTC areas. Your PPE meeting instruction is confirmed in writing for your particular booking; do not substitute an online map label for it.
